We ate at the chefs table to celebrate our engagement on Valentine’s Day so there was a combo of menu items and old we did the wine pairings. Highly recommend! We tried new foods and wines that I don’t think we would have tried on our own. Our favorite was somewhere between the Brandon and duck dishes. And don’t forget the wines. The Laura Lorenzo was just divine. And then the sweet vermouth and sherry to conclude the device was great. Out attendant and sommelier were friendly, personable and knowledgeable. Highly recommend, especially for special occasions.

Such a great experience! We chose the tapas experience and lemme tell you, it got us so full! Didn’t have a chance to try the cocktails but the mocktails were great. The presentation of the food and drinks were spectacular. The aesthetic of the restaurant was warm. Can’t wait to be back!

This was a fantastic place to celebrate our anniversary. The 4-course dining options were sophisticated and indulgent, without being overly complicated. Our dishes leaned on simple yet bold flavors, highlighted with high quality ingredients. Each course was also enough for both of us to share so we could each try a bit (or a lot) of everything. The waitstaff was first-rate, anticipating our needs before they happened and ensuring we had a seamless and perfect dining experience. While this is an upscale and pricey option than may not be an every day restaurant for everyone, it is more than worth the occasional treat or to celebrate a special occasion. I highly recommend the mussels which packed incredible flavor, as well as the pulpo (octopus) which was so incredibly tender. They were our favorite dishes of the night. But truly, not a single complaint or criticism for any dish at The Saga. Everything on the menu is terrific.

Came here with a group of people. The waiter noticed we were having a hard time deciding what to get and got with the chef. They presented us with a delicious multi-course meal that covered the best menu items. All the menu items were explained as they came out and of course everything was delicious. One of our friends has a gluten allergy, and they were able to work around it without making it seem like they were missing out on the meal. The cocktails were great as well.

It was my first time time here and I loved it! Everything was delicious. I came during restaurant week and had the eggplant hummus and rice cake dishes. Everything was great but I loved those 2 dishes the most. Highly recommend checking out this place for date night.

Recently went to The Saga for the first time and I can honestly say I had a top notch experience. We went on a Wednesday evening and as a result, it wasn't crowded at all. I loved the minimalistic and contemporary design. The ambiance helped enhance the entire culinary experience. The service was top notch!! Our server was knowledgeable, extremely attentive and really personable. At times when I didn't know what to order, he pointed me in the right direction. The New Fashioned cocktails were so good, I had 2. We then received a complimentary savory cocktail which includes butternut squash, coconut and ginger which was absolutely delicious. Next we had the mofongo and cheese croquettes which bursted with flavor. For my dinner, I had the branzino and arroz amarillo. The combination of both dishes together was a culinary masterpiece. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I finished off the evening with the It's Not Crema Catalana dessert which included crema catalana foam, tomate de arbol ice cream, orange-hibiscus couli, honey comb and cotton candy. It was such an interesting combination but all the flavors complemented each other so well. The Saga is another gem to add to my list of restaurants I would love to revisit again. Keep in mind there is 22% gratuity that is automatically included, but in my opinion it is well worth it!

The Saga is a culinary adventure that I really enjoyed. I met some former colleagues there for a brunch and it was wonderful. The Saga, which is located in the Ritz Carlton West End in DC, is a part of the Seven Reasons Restaurant Group, which includes multiple, award-winning, unique concept restaurants in the DC area. From the moment you walk-in, it’s an experience! The staff is dressed impeccably, the venue screams splurge, the menu features water-color depictions of their cocktails including a fluffy margarita topped with a creamy foam. The waffle I ordered was perfectly cooked. My friends also enjoyed their meals immensely. I am looking forward to checking out their other dining concepts including Imperfecto, Surreal and Joy.
